Reviews for Sigiri Restaurant & Take Away
Rude

The whole dining experience was awful as the owners were very rude and very impolite! If you are size 8 and have a doll for baby then you can go there! They didnt want us to move around except to get the food and the baby was to sit in the high chair the whole time! They have overbooked and there was 45 people instead of 20 capacilty! The waiters were not friendly. Im a chubby person and pregnant and i found it extremly uncomfortable to move as my tummy was wedged between chairs! I had to cover my tummy so that i dont get injured! We went fot a birthday party and because of these rudeness the whole experience was spoilt and we came home so annoyed and angry!
Wonderful banquet

I would hate to see this restaurant get more popular, because I might have trouble finding a table when I want one! But it deserves to do well. Sri Lankan food - I'd never been able to find somewhere that made hoppers (a kind of unusual 'pancake' made with coconut milk that you use to pick up food with) until I came here. And I come back for those.
Particularly good value is the banquet-style spread they put on at weekends, which gives you a real range of dishes to try. Friendly staff, family-run (I think), cheerful and pleasant. It can get fairly busy on a weekend. If you're not doing the banquet, works best with a few people in a group, so you can share.
